About the Role
This MedTech Field Service Technician role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with healthcare professionals and lead technical initiatives in medical device technology, specifically installing hardware for automated medication dispensing systems. Responsibilities
- Organize, test, and assemble automated medication dispensing systems, focusing on hardware installation and configuration.
- Review schematics, drawings, documentation, and logistics to support installation activities.
- Perform pre-assembly, building, and installation of conveyors, automated dispensers, and related equipment.
- Install pneumatic devices, RFID readers, and sensors throughout conveyor systems.
- Commission electronic/electrical systems and perform structured cabling installation.
- Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests post-installation and configuration.
- Ensure work completion adheres to quality compliance requirements.
- Partner with support staff and manage project timelines and customer needs.
Requirements
- Possess an intermediate secondary school certificate (Realschulabschluss or Mittlere Reife).
- Have a minimum of 1 year of related experience in electronics, hardware, software, or mechanical fields.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish/Portuguese is required.
- Demonstrate professional business acumen and communication skills.
- Comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems.
- Ability to collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and healthcare personnel to define equipment layout, operations, and workflow.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools, reading schematics, and assembling components.
- Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of vaccination status.
- May require up-to-date immunizations.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Possess an active and unrestricted driver's license.
- Own a personal vehicle and be willing to use it for job assignments.
- Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally weekly.
- Must be located within 30 miles of a major airport.

- Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision.
