About the Role

JLL is seeking a dynamic individual to provide reliable, timely, and professional support to designated employee groups within the Canadian business. This role reports into the Head of Talent Acquisition and involves working with diverse internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will require independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload and must be bilingual in English and French.

Responsibilities

  • Provide recruitment team support for acquisitions and dispositions, including recruitment support, scheduling interviews, screening candidates, drafting job descriptions, offers, and employee communications.
  • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
  • Conduct intake and regular follow-up meetings with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
  • Input and maintain employee records in Workday, ensuring accuracy.
  • Create, update, and distribute HR-related reports and metrics as required.
  • Analyze HR Recruitment metrics and communicate trends.
  • Build strong relationships with client groups at all levels of the organization.
  • Act as a resource to stakeholders concerning internal recruitment policies and procedures.
  • Participate in HR projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience in the commercial real estate sector is a definite asset.
  • Understanding of acquisitions and dispositions is a definite asset.
  • Knowledge of Employment Standards Legislation in Quebec and throughout Canada is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Operate with a sense of urgency, quickly responding to stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and negotiation skills.
  • A professional yet personable demeanor.
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be proactive and take initiative.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, utilize judgment, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with Workday is a definite asset.
  • Bilingualism (English-French) spoken and written.
