About the Role

The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members to join our Relationship Management and Client Service team. Our primary goal is to provide an exceptional client experience to our clients. As an Account Manager you will develop, maintain and expand the client relationships with existing clients serving as the primary point of contact for the daily activities and initiatives of your clients.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance client relationships by building deeper and broader connections and developing an intimate understanding of clients' business and objectives.
  • Consult with clients using industry and SEI Solutions knowledge, presenting innovative recommendations on industry trends, product differentiation, new market opportunities, and success stories.
  • Manage client and internal expectations while identifying, resolving, and escalating critical issues.
  • Act as a strong advocate for clients internally and for SEI externally.
  • Engage with internal teams to find creative ways to continually define service offerings and contribute to market unit success by identifying and participating in department-wide initiatives.
  • Lead the onboarding of new clients and manage key client projects, including prioritization, resource identification, milestone monitoring, business analysis, and documentation.
  • Oversee projects such as fund and share class openings/closings, fund mergers, asset pool conversions, and external service provider changes.
  • Ensure standardized processes are created and utilized for routine activities.
  • Assist IMS in meeting business objectives by ensuring client relationships maintain revenue and profitability goals.
  • Actively identify cross-selling opportunities and support recontract and RFP processes.
  • Acquire tools through professional development sessions and industry conferences to identify and streamline processes across the division and organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8 years of investment management/operational experience (Traditional or Alternative).
  • Strong team building skills.
  • Excellent Client Service skills built around the SEI Client Experience Principles.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Self-motivation and drive to monitor multiple client deliverables without sacrificing excellence or quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of your time.
