About the Role
As an Accounting Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in accounting and finance, with a practical understanding of accounting principles and processes, and exposure to the day-to-day operations of an accounting department. You will work closely with experienced professionals and be an integral part of our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Help with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice verification, reconciliation, and payment processing.
- Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in College/University majoring in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
