About the Role
Modo Energy is seeking a Product Designer to join their London team. This role focuses primarily on UI and craft for the Terminal platform, with flexibility for marketing and brand design. As an early designer hire within the Product Operations team, you will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams. This entry to mid-level position offers significant growth opportunities and the chance to make a substantial impact.
Responsibilities
- Terminal platform UI - feature design and new workflows
- Visual assets including illustrations, charts, and components
- Marketing assets and brand design - landing pages, the Modo website, events, conference stands, social
Requirements
- A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional visual taste - clean layout, typography, composition, and modern interface design
- Strong Figma skills
- Primarily product-focused, with a generalist skillset and some time spent on marketing / brand design
- Fast, autonomous, and able to context-switch between different types of work
- A genuine eye for detail and a high personal bar for quality
- Enthusiasm for learning about energy and the world of BESS, solar, and wind — no prior knowledge needed
