About the Role
We are seeking a professional to manage, administer, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring user-friendliness. This role involves developing custom extensions and features using AL, maintaining and adapting existing systems, and creating new solutions. You will also develop and manage interfaces with third-party systems like warehouse technology, EDI, webshops, or BI systems, and support updates, release changes, and system implementations. Additionally, you will contribute to digitalization and automation projects, collaborate with external development partners, manage service providers, conduct user training, perform structured troubleshooting, and create technical documentation. Support in system integration is also a key part of this role.
Responsibilities
- Manage, administer, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring user-friendliness.
- Develop custom extensions and features using AL.
- Maintain and adapt existing systems, and develop new solutions.
- Develop and manage interfaces with third-party systems (e.g., warehouse technology, EDI, webshops, or BI systems).
- Support updates, release changes, and system implementations.
- Contribute to digitalization and automation projects.
- Collaborate with external development partners and manage service providers.
- Conduct user training.
- Perform structured troubleshooting for everyday user issues.
- Create technical documentation.
- Provide support in system integration.
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist for application development or comparable qualification.
- Good knowledge of development and programming (ideally .NET / AL is an advantage).
- Understanding of data structures and simple database queries (SQL).
- Experience with Visual Studio Code and Azure DevOps is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of interfaces (APIs, data exchange).
- Ability to implement and cleanly test requirements.
- Understanding of server/client structures and system landscapes.
- Analytical thinking and structured way of working.
- Proactiveness, team spirit, and a desire to actively improve processes.
