About the Role
We are seeking a courteous and friendly wheelchair NEMT Driver who can deliver excellent customer service consistently. Drivers must assist clients getting in and out of the vehicle and assist clients with a "through the door" service. Applicants must have a flexible work schedule to accommodate business needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-inspection checks on all vehicles.
- Ensure all items or devices are stored properly.
- Drive clients to and from destinations safely.
Requirements
- Valid state driver's license or commercial driver's license required.
- Familiarity with the driving region and surrounding areas.
- Familiarity with using cellular phones and navigating with a GPS.
- Experience working with the elderly population.
- Must pass pre-employment screening (background, drug, and alcohol screen).
- May be subjected to multiple drug and alcohol screenings.
- Must be able to pass a physical test including lifting up to 50 LBS, pushing up to 150 LBS, bending from the waist, pivoting from the waist, and moving from standing to kneeling and back to standing.
- Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Valid authorization to work in the U.S.

Experience Level
- Experience driving corporate clients and paratransit vehicles are a plus.
- Must have a valid specific state driver's license of posted job location for at least three (3) years preferred, with no more than one (1) moving violation or one (1) at fault accident in the last three (3) years.
Education Level
- High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Valid CPR/First Aid card is preferred but not required.
