About the Role
This role owns the development and implementation of internal tools to improve efficiency and productivity across departments. You will identify time-consuming processes, build solutions ranging from internal applications to automations, and drive AI enablement to ensure proper tool usage.
Responsibilities
- Own internal tools end to end, from problem identification through architecture, build, rollout, and post-launch fixes.
- Build AI-powered internal systems including document parsing, analysis, agentic workflows, automated research, and routing.
- Collaborate with leads across Proposals, Customer Ops, Sales, Design, and Engineering to identify inefficiencies and scope solutions.
- Drive AI enablement across the company, ensuring all employees can maximize tool benefits.
- Support the external analytics layer within Kaizen's platform.
- Provide support to the deployment team during customer implementations.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of engineering, data, or applied AI experience, or equivalent demonstrated ability.
- A portfolio of end-to-end built solutions (internal applications, automations, tools) that are currently in use.
- Genuine fluency with AI tools, including experience shipping with them and understanding their limitations.
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency in data modeling for warehouse work and model development.
- Ability to translate vague problems from non-technical stakeholders into appropriately scoped solutions.
- Low ego and high output, with a willingness to handle unglamorous but essential rollout tasks.
