About the Role
Stacks is seeking a highly ambitious, entrepreneurial, and technically adept Implementation Engineer to join our team. This critical role ensures customer success by integrating Stacks with their core financial systems. It offers a unique opportunity for career acceleration and shaping the future of Stacks in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical implementation of Stacks for new customers and product features, including environment configuration, system testing, UAT assistance, and cutover/hypercare support.
- Advise customers on best practices, translate accounting business problems into Stacks solutions, and collaborate with Engineering to resolve complex technical issues.
- Drive process improvements and develop internal tools/automation scripts for smoother operational workflows and scaled efficiency.
- Develop and refine Stacks' documentation hub, creating new content and materials to enhance client self-service.
- Capture and structure customer feedback to drive product improvement, collaborating with Product and Engineering to influence future development.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing software implementation projects in a SaaS environment.
- Deep, hands-on experience using Accounting ERPs as a power user or consultant.
- Ability to understand and explain complex systems, and self-solve technical customer problems.
- Strong familiarity with accounting principles, ideally as a CPA or with month-end close and reporting experience.
- Confidence in customer-facing interactions, including listening, challenging assumptions, and building trust.
