About the Role
The Fitness Appraiser is responsible for monitoring fitness usage, registering members, and designing fitness programs. This role ensures member and guest expectations are exceeded while upholding club standards through effective communication and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Fitness Section Members and assist with equipment usage
- Register new fitness Members and guests, ensuring all paperwork is signed, shoe tag is provided etc.
- Administer initial assessment and program design sessions for Members as needed
- Keep Fitness Centre clean and tidy
- Set up and tear down each fitness class during shift and collect attendance sheets for statistics
- Ensure that small equipment room is clean, organized and locked after each class
- Return phone calls once every hour within shift
Requirements
- Knowledge of fitness equipment and its proper use is essential
- Minimum 1-year experience
- Must hold a valid First-Aid and CPR-C Certificate
- Exceptional customer service skills
