About the Role
Provide support for complex IT infrastructures, environments, systems, applications, and databases. Perform operational and project support, including monitoring and improving performance, and creating reports. Support RFP creation and vendor evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the development, stability, performance, optimization, testing, and security for IT infrastructures, environments, systems, applications, and databases.
- Provide operational and project support, including monitoring and reporting on IT infrastructures, environments, systems, and applications.
- Plan and perform technical administrative, environment management, release management, change management, and testing and quality management activities.
- Support the creation of architectural and technical maintenance roadmaps.
- Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) by providing inputs and supporting plan execution.
- Configure and maintain IT performance and threat monitoring tools and integrate with IT Service Management platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and build tools for performance monitoring and alerting.
- Participate in project status meetings and prepare/review various technical documents.
- Support creation of internal and external RFPs and evaluate vendor responses.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience in the IT domain with proficiency in technical/systems architecture, infrastructure, databases, NIX, Wintel, networking, security, performance, reporting, disaster recovery, inventory lifecycle management, environment management, release management, change management, and test and quality management.
- Experience with and knowledge of IT infrastructures, technologies, and tools from vendors such as Cisco, Oracle, Microsoft, VMWare, Dynatrace, Splunk, SysTrack, ServiceNow, SAP, Veritas, HP, HPE, Hitachi, IBM, 3Par, etc.
- Deep analytical problem-solving skills with advanced proficiency.
- Over 8 and up to 10 years of experience is considered necessary.
