About the Role
Carrier is seeking a Modernisation Project Manager in London to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex refurbishment, modernisation, and turnkey projects across the UK. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards, overseeing the entire project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage site teams, providing clear direction, motivation, and support to deliver project objectives efficiently.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, manage resources, and coordinate activities to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, sales, and operational service teams.
- Monitor progress, provide regular project updates and reports to management and stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, expenditures, and report on financial performance, including accurate forecasting and target margin delivery.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks. Adjust plans as needed to minimise disruptions and ensure project continuity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in HVAC or construction related industry in similar building environments.
- Experience managing refurbishment, modernisation, construction, or turnkey projects.
- Experience using MS Project or similar project scheduling software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- UK Driving Licence.
- IT Literate with MS Office skills.
