About the Role
Arcadis is seeking a senior professional to provide management support on a variety of projects within the property environment. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience across diverse and challenging projects in sectors such as workplace, retail, and hospitality, enhancing skills and testing technical knowledge within a growing global Interior Design Consultancy.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for delivery of medium-size projects or elements of larger projects, with fee levels typically in range of £1M - £10M
- Managing project teams in the collection and analysis of data, and development of design solutions
- Guiding the development of successful client outcomes
- Accountability for the preparation and registration of all relevant documentation and design reports, ensuring accuracy
- Maintaining on-going communication with relevant Project Leaders/Team Leaders and clients
- Contributing to the resolution of technical issues on projects and providing technical guidance to other team members
- Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design
- Reviewing completed design work to ensure accuracy
- Good design and / or technical skills and familiarity with construction methods
- Affective technical, project management, client relationship management and commercial skills
- Mentor & coach others, may emerging line management responsibilities
Requirements
- Bachelors’ interior design, design management or architectural degree
- Effective project management, client relationship management and commercial skills
- A passion for interior design excellence, and a desire to embrace new and innovative thinking
- The ability to think in an innovative and entrepreneurial manner with good understanding of commercial aspects of a project
- Significant experience in multi-sector interiors & design management
- A solid understanding of AutoCAD / Revit and a CDE, with knowledge of other industry recognised design software
- Proficient in delivering project in BIM
- Good motivational, influencing, people management and delegation skills
