About the Role

DNV Business Assurance is seeking a Sales Area Manager to drive the business development of Supply Chain Assurance (SCA) services within the General Industries sector and their assigned territory. The role requires a team player with strong sales skills, market analysis capabilities, and a strategic mindset, preferably with experience in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry or auditing firms.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the General Industries market to understand trends, development opportunities, potential customers, and competitors’ strategy.
  • Achieve individual sales targets.
  • Implement sales actions by developing prospects and managing key customers.
  • Follow up on leads and opportunities from various channels.
  • Ensure DNV visibility within the General Industries market.
  • Manage pipeline and provide accurate forecasts for business planning.
  • Develop and maintain a network of channels in the General Industries market through lead generation activities.
  • Participate in local communication actions such as external events, tradeshows, conferences, and workshops.

Requirements

  • Only applications with previous experience, even if limited, in selling second-party supply chain audit services and managing key clients will be considered.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in the General Industries market.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Project management skills.
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Fluent in English/Italian depending on location (written and spoken).
  • Valid EU driving licence.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the region and internationally.
  • Security and compliance with statutory requirements is essential.
  • Background checks will be conducted on all final candidates.
