About the Role
The Ward Law Group is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to manage both pre-litigation and litigation personal injury matters throughout their lifecycle, from intake to resolution. This role involves case strategy, client counseling, settlement negotiations, and litigation oversight, contributing directly to helping injured individuals and supporting the firm's growth.
Responsibilities
- Handle both pre-litigation and litigation personal injury matters, ensuring strategic case advancement.
- Manage cases from intake through settlement, including strategy, documentation, and compliance.
- Complete Flip-to-Lit and TD approvals, manage release approvals, and guide clients through the case lifecycle.
- Draft pre-litigation documents such as demands and settlement packages.
- Negotiate settlements with carriers.
- Supervise 6–10 Case Managers, ensure KPI compliance, and maintain quality control.
- Conduct recorded statements, prepare clients for Examinations Under Oath (EUOs), and prepare for and attend 50-h hearings.
- Focus primarily on personal injury cases, especially motor vehicle accidents.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
- 3+ years of personal injury / motor vehicle accident experience preferred.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
- Strong client service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Leadership ability and self-starter mindset.
- Excellent writing and advocacy skills.
