About the Role
T1 Energy is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage intercompany accounting, general ledger integrity, and consolidations across multiple entities. This role is central to the monthly close process, ensuring financial results are accurate, timely, and audit-ready, while strengthening the core financial infrastructure of a fast-scaling manufacturing business.
Responsibilities
- Support accounting for a multi-entity, global organization, ensuring accurate consolidation and intercompany activity.
- Assist in coordinating month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, flux analyses, and supporting schedules.
- Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards or complex transactions.
- Help ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and internal control standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Contribute to the review and enhancement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other third parties.
- Assist in managing inter-company transactions, eliminations, foreign currency impacts, and consolidation adjustments.
- Support and mentor accounting staff, fostering accountability, development, and a high-performance team environment.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve systems, and enhance reporting efficiency.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented and technically solid in U.S. GAAP.
- Comfortable working through complex contracts and translating them into accounting outcomes.
- Analytical, organized, and deadline driven.
- Clear communicator capable of explaining accounting concepts to non-accountants.
- Proactive in flagging risk and improving processes.
- Progressive accounting experience, with some exposure to team coordination or supervisory responsibilities.
- Prior public accounting experience preferred.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working across accounting systems and technologies.
