Responsibilities
- Perform garbage and recycle disposal.
- Conduct carriage road and auto road maintenance.
- Produce firewood and perform tree removal/pruning.
- Handle utility maintenance and snow/ice removal.
- Perform seasonal property maintenance tasks.
- Operate vehicles and powered equipment including tractors, loaders, bulldozers, snowplows, chainsaws, and excavators.
- Use hand tools such as shovels, pruners, and rakes.
- Maintain or repair tools, equipment, and structures.
- Ensure safe operation of chainsaws.
- Maintain the integrity of assigned work areas.
- Inspect, clean, and maintain tools and equipment.
- Stack and load hay.
- Maintain assigned Parks equipment and inventories.
- Assist in the construction and installation of various projects.
- Maintain drainage systems, repair culverts and walls.
- Back up trailers unassisted.
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
- Support other departments with related tasks.
- Coordinate use, maintenance, and repair of Parks and Grounds vehicles and equipment.
- Keep roadways and carriage road surfaces smooth, clean, and clear.
- Keep roadways and walking paths safe and accessible during winter weather.
- Interact with staff and guests professionally and courteously.
- Be on call year-round for storm events.
- Keep road edges clean and clear of debris.
- Contribute to positive staff morale and cooperative attitude.
- Operate vehicles safely in compliance with traffic rules.
- Work productively and efficiently with or without supervision.
- Adhere to dress and grooming standards.

- Maneuver carts or dollies safely with loads.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Wear Proper Protective Equipment when required.
- Pay close attention to details.
- Maintain order on job sites and in storage areas.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License.
- At least 21 years of age, or 20 years of age with at least two years of licensed driving experience.
- Previous property management experience preferred.

- Operating vehicles and powered equipment (tractors, loaders, bulldozers, snowplows, chainsaws, excavators).
- Using hand tools (shovels, pruners, rakes).
- Chainsaw operation.
