About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead design on ePay—our new digital disbursements and payments product—and the adjacent products that surround it. This is a senior, end-to-end role where you will own discovery from first principles, carry the work through to polished delivery, and partner closely with various teams to translate complex financial workflows into elegant solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver with strong UX and UI craft, comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment.
Responsibilities
- Own discovery end-to-end—frame the problem, define research questions, and lead a rigorous UX research and concept-testing process.
- Drive design from discovery through delivery—own ePay and adjacent initiatives across the full lifecycle.
- Map and simplify complex workflows—turn multi-step payment, approval, and disbursement flows into clear end-to-end journeys, wireframes, mockups, and clickable prototypes.
- Conduct user research and usability testing—plan and run moderated and unmoderated studies to validate assumptions and inform design decisions.
- Design accessible interfaces for web and mobile—deliver intuitive, elegant, WCAG-conscious experiences.
- Partner deeply across functions—collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, customers, security/compliance, and leadership.
- Produce precise specifications—create detailed design specs and partner with Engineering for accurate implementation.
- Contribute to KEV’s design system—use, extend, and help evolve shared patterns and components.
- Communicate and align—present design work clearly to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Iterate with data—continuously refine designs using user feedback, analytics, and data-driven insights, and stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, with a track record of leading initiatives end-to-end, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated ownership of discovery: comfortable framing ambiguous problems, scoping work, and driving from research through delivery with minimal direction.
- Strong UX and UI craft with a keen eye for detail and accessibility across desktop and mobile platforms.
- Deep experience with UX methodologies, user research, prototyping, and usability testing, including moderated research.
- Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Figma, plus comfort with rapid prototyping.
- Strategic product thinking with the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical and compliance constraints.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with and influencing diverse stakeholders, including leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
