About the Role
As an Inside Sales Representative / METRO Market (m/f/d) or In-Store Customer Manager (m/f/d), you will be in direct contact with our customers. You will conduct active sales discussions in the wholesale market and advise our customers on our product range and services.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers in the wholesale market.
- Continuously develop your customer base through competent support.
- Actively sell, advise on products and services (e.g., delivery, digitalization), and perform needs-based cross-selling in direct customer contact.
- Collaborate closely with field sales and delivery teams to meet high customer demands.
- Organize and support customer events such as trade fairs, tastings, wine forums, and dessert training.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in gastronomy or retail (e.g., Chef (m/f/d), Restaurant Specialist (m/f/d), Wholesale and Trade Clerk (m/f/d)) or equivalent practical experience.
- Ideally, experience in active sales.
- Knowledge of gastronomy/hotel industry processes.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong communication skills and sales talent.
- Skilled in building networks.
- Customer-focused, friendly, and oriented towards service and quality.
