About the Role
The Principal Marketing Specialist, Client Experience Centre (CXC) Briefing Advisor supports the oversight of NTT DATA’s London CXC programme, directing and supporting the strategy, operations, and end-to-end execution of executive customer engagements. This role translates business objectives into compelling briefing experiences that strengthen C-suite relationships and accelerate business outcomes, while also leading and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities
- Support the strategy, planning, and execution of the London Client Experience programme, owning the full executive briefing lifecycle.
- Consult with teams and leadership to understand customer objectives and develop briefing strategies.
- Lead and mentor less experienced team members, providing direction and accountability.
- Oversee content management and presentation quality, and provide presenter coaching.
- Partner with the Marketing Events Team to support company-sponsored executive events.
- Manage the briefing management system, maintaining scheduling policies and procedures.
- Develop, manage, and report the CXC budget, maintaining financial accountability.
- Align and influence internal organizations and external alliances in support of the CXC strategy.
- Advise account teams on relevant topics, identify growth opportunities, and position briefings as a strategic business driver.
- Capture and report on engagement outcomes, KPIs, and client feedback.
- Support executive communications, public relations/media and analyst relations programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with marketing leadership, executive administrators, and key external partners.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of executive briefing programme management and end-to-end event planning and execution.
- Strong knowledge of technology capabilities and services and their applicability to NTT DATA’s portfolio.
- Excellent financial and business acumen; proven ability to manage programme budgets and propose forecasts.
- Advanced organisational agility with the ability to engage credibly at all levels.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced project management skills; proven ability to manage multiple complex, concurrent engagements.
- Strong people leadership capability; experienced in developing, mentoring, and holding teams and vendors accountable.
- Advanced knowledge of briefing management systems and CRM (Salesforce) platforms; Microsoft 365 including PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel.
- Committed to excellence in client experience; diplomatic and professionally composed under pressure.
- Highly proactive with the ability to work in high-pressure situations.

Experience Level
- 10-12 years of relevant marketing, executive engagement, or briefing centre experience
- Minimum 5 years in a senior individual and/or team lead experience
- Demonstrated experience planning and executing executive-level events and customer engagements at scale
- Proven track record engaging with and presenting to C-suite and senior executive audiences
- Prior experience within a technology, professional services, or managed services environment strongly preferred
- Experience managing programme budgets and vendor relationships in a complex, global organisation
- Extended demonstrated experience with marketing software
- Extended demonstrated experience with a wide variety of computer software, hardware, and peripherals, including Microsoft 365
Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Level 7 preferred
- Certified Briefing Professional (CBP) or equivalent desirable
- Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is advantageous
- Event management certification (e.g., Certified Meeting Professional, CMP) is advantageous
