About the Role

As a Recruitment Manager specializing in Tech, you will partner directly with senior management across our Tech, Data, AI, and Product teams to hire exceptional talent. Your role is crucial in attracting excellent, diverse talent and providing a best-in-class candidate experience, while also streamlining the freelance recruitment process and reducing external agency spend. You will be a driving force in raising the profile of the Recruitment team, ensuring we are viewed as a trusted and consultative partner.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for Technology, Data, AI, Product, and Digital hires across the VCCP Group.
  • Proactively direct-source exceptional technical talent using multiple channels to build diverse talent benches.
  • Streamline the high-volume freelance recruitment process and reduce external agency dependency.
  • Coordinate and conduct hands-on interviewing, from initial screens to in-person deep dives with Hiring Managers.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders on long-term hiring strategy, workforce planning, and talent attraction.
  • Monitor the London job market, competitor movements, and recruitment methodologies to advise internal teams.
  • Track salary benchmarking for technical market rates and monitor service delivery to demonstrate commercial impact.
  • Evaluate and manage the Tech PSL, ensuring external partners understand VCCP and qualify high-calibre talent.
  • Champion best-in-class candidate experience, ensuring consistent, constructive, and timely feedback.
  • Promote structured interviewing and diversity best practices throughout the assessment pipeline.
  • Develop networks with external tech communities to build long-term DE&I attraction strategies.
  • Utilize Greenhouse and recruitment data to inform hiring decisions and optimize workflows.
  • Explore and pilot AI tools to improve recruitment effectiveness while maintaining a human-centered candidate experience.
  • Partner with the wider People Team on employer brand, early careers, and talent initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in running full-cycle tech recruitment pipelines at pace, either from a recruitment agency or in-house.
  • Confident in speaking the language of engineering and systems, and evaluating candidate experience against the tech stack.
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills to project credibility and build rapport with senior leadership.
  • Advanced user of LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse experience is highly desirable).
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Possess a challenger mindset with low ego, high ownership, and a bias for action.
  • Experience in improving processes, pushing recruitment boundaries, and embracing AI.
  • Working knowledge of G Suite (Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides).
  • Experience in the London job market is highly desirable.
  • Must complete a Criminal Records Declaration regarding any unspent convictions.
