Responsibilities include building client relationships, ensuring project delivery for live and virtual events, managing budgets, and collaborating with agency partners.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main day-to-day contact for the Bi-Service account, setting clear scope, expectations and status updates for the client
- Manage a portfolio of live and virtual events, from large conferences and summits to activations, exhibition stands, festivals and recruitment shows
- Review new client briefs, question and shape the approach, and respond with solutions that meet the client's brand and objectives
- Set, monitor and manage client budgets, working closely with the project team to protect profitability on a complex account
- Lead client and internal meetings, follow up with clear notes and actions, and hold attendees accountable for completion of required deliverables and timelines
- Work with wider agency partners to keep inter-agency relationships strong and campaigns joined up
- Manage client change requests and secure sign-off, so projects stay within budget and on track
- Share client feedback and insight with the wider project team and internal stakeholders
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise and escalate to the Account Director when needed
- Support pitch and proposal work as required

- All other duties appropriate to the role
Requirements
- 3-4 years' experience in an Account Manager or similar role, ideally within an integrated agency
- A track record of managing complex client budgets, including accounts with an annual budget over £1m
- Experience working with government clients or affiliated organisations is a strong advantage
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Presents information clearly and communicates well, both written and verbal
- Plans, organises and prioritises their own workload without close supervision
- Holds standards under pressure: accurate, on-brief, and on deadline even when things get tight, including on multi-agency projects
- Previous experience of line management is an advantage
- A hands-on, can-do approach to problem-solving under pressure
