About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will actively shape digital projects and develop them further with clients, focusing on CMS-based information offerings and websites, including their further development and operation. You will work at the intersection of technology, digital communication consulting, creation, and content.
Responsibilities
- Manage demanding digital implementation projects, ensuring scope, budget, quality, and timing are on track.
- Focus on digital communication projects, particularly CMS-based information offerings and websites, including their further development and operation, collaborating with teams from technology, digital communication consulting, creation, content, and UX.
- Work closely with clients and interdisciplinary project teams to understand requirements and challenges, translating them into concrete project goals and solutions.
- Identify new needs and potentials with existing clients and further develop projects and client relationships with subject matter experts.
- Contribute project experience and perspective to proposals, tenders, and pitches.
- Confidently manage various stakeholders, ensuring clarity, commitment, and good collaboration even in complex project situations.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in managing digital implementation projects, ideally related to websites, information platforms, or other CMS-based solutions.
- View project management as active shaping and development of projects, solutions, and client relationships, not just administration.
- Enjoy understanding clients and their challenges, recognizing potential, and developing suitable solutions with interdisciplinary teams.
- Comfortable collaborating with technical teams as well as disciplines like communication, UX, design, creation, or content.
- Experience in presales, business development, tenders, or proposal creation is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with various project methodologies (agile or classic) and ability to apply them appropriately.
- Experience with projects in the Public Sector or public-related industries is ideal.
- Completed university degree or comparable practical qualification.
- Communicate confidently with various stakeholders and possess very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
