About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Barista to join us at Jumeirah Carlton Tower, a landmark London address where heritage meets contemporary luxury.
Responsibilities
- Take orders and serve food and beverages as requested by guests, ensuring accuracy and prompt service.
- Maintain complete knowledge of the menu, including food and beverages, and provide recommendations and advice to guests and colleagues as necessary.
- Ensure that guests receive the correct order and that all food and beverages are prepared and served according to standard operating procedures.
- Contribute to the development of the bar menu and perfect recipes for signature drinks.
- Collect money for orders served, process financial transactions following standard cashiering procedures, and ensure all bills are checked for accuracy before presentation to the guest.
- Perform daily calibrations of equipment such as coffee machines and grinders before each shift to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
- Higher Secondary School certificate or Country specific certification.
- Basic Food and Hygiene Training.
- One year of experience as a Barista in a luxury hotel.
- Must be available to work weekends, day, evenings and holidays.
