About the Role
As a Store Manager (m/f/d), you will lead your store as a manager with high responsibility, embodying the principle of the best possible customer orientation together with your team.
Responsibilities
- Motivate your team in the store and support employees in their personal and professional development.
- Manage work processes in the individual departments of the store and develop measures for continuous process optimization.
- Ensure the sustainable success of the market you manage through your experience and confident handling of business figures.
- Ensure efficient and customer-oriented delivery together with the responsible managers.
- Ensure optimal integration of store, logistics, and delivery processes, thus contributing significantly to customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Analyze and control marketing strategies and continuously develop them.
- Act as a strategic partner to the corporate headquarters and be responsible for networking with other METRO and METRO Gastro markets within your region.
- Represent your market at larger events and in exchanges with important customers and business partners.
Requirements
- You have leadership experience in larger organizational units in the retail context, enjoy working with people, and possess a cooperative and motivating leadership style.
- You have completed commercial training with further education as a trade or business administrator (m/f/d) or have completed a business administration degree and have experience in a comparable role as a store manager (m/f/d), house manager (m/f/d), or branch manager (m/f/d).
- Ideally, you have experience in the logistics or delivery business and understand the requirements for efficient goods supply, route planning, and operational logistics.
- Experience in managing complex retail and logistics processes is particularly advantageous in the Berlin market environment.
