About the Role
Arcadis is seeking a Project Manager/Project Engineer for Traffic and Infrastructure Planning to join our Places Business Area. You will be responsible for developing infrastructure facilities for industrial and commercial new construction projects. Our global Places business area focuses on creating, enhancing, and optimizing intelligent, safe, and sustainable places for living, working, learning, and thriving.
Responsibilities
- Planning and support of infrastructure facilities in the context of industrial and commercial new construction projects in service phases 1 to 6
- Coordination of planning bases and interfaces with other specialist disciplines and direct communication with our clients
- Independent development of planning concepts for traffic facilities, open spaces, and engineering structures, including drainage concepts, rainwater retention and infiltration, and partial cable routing planning
- Preparation of approval documents for official procedures within the scope of the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG)
- Technical guidance and coordination of draftsmen and 3D modelers
- Consulting and support of our clients on infrastructure-related issues and adjacent areas
- Depending on experience, take over the technical and economic management of projects in the mentioned fields of activity
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in traffic planning, infrastructure planning, or a comparable qualification
- Ideally, several years of professional experience in traffic and infrastructure planning
- Structured, independent, and goal-oriented way of working, as well as strong teamwork skills
- Knowledge in 3D model-based planning, ideally with Autodesk Civil 3D
- High level of commitment, initiative, and enthusiasm for challenging projects
- Willingness to undertake project-related business trips
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
