About the Role
The Associate will play a key role in deal execution and originate new business by working with senior bankers on a broad range of high-profile, cross-border transactions across multiple sectors, advising corporates, private equity firms, and financial sponsors.
Responsibilities
- Execute M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side mandates, strategic advisory, and defence assignments
- Lead the preparation of financial models (DCF, LBO, trading comps, transaction comps) and valuation analyses
- Develop and review high-quality client materials, including pitch books, IMs, management presentations, and board materials
- Coordinate due diligence processes and manage data rooms, advisors, and client interactions
- Support senior bankers in client relationship management and business development efforts
- Supervise and mentor Analysts, ensuring accuracy and quality of deliverables
- Stay abreast of market developments, sector trends, and comparable transactions
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant investment banking experience, preferably within an M&A team at a top-tier bank or advisory firm
- Strong technical skills, with advanced proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple workstreams across live transactions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- Highly driven, proactive, and intellectually curious
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across teams and geographies
- Commercial mindset with a genuine interest in corporate finance and strategic advisory
