About the Role
As a Legal Counsel, you will support the existing legal department with your legal expertise and serve as a point of contact for internal business units and subsidiaries across locations. Your advisory competence ranges from all questions concerning (IT) contract law to supporting tender processes within the IT industry.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a cross-location point of contact for the Legal team, advising on all legal matters with a focus on (IT) contract law, corporate law, data protection, and IT procurement law.
- Provide advisory services to internal business units and externally.
- Support tender processes and ongoing customer projects.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts in German and English.
- Promote knowledge transfer within the legal team on legal topics and elevate the team's expertise.
Requirements
- Strong interest in IT and curiosity for diverse technical and legal challenges.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in a law firm or corporate company, preferably in the IT sector.
- Good results in the first and second state examinations in law (Germany).
- Independent and pragmatic work style, with the ability to prioritize and quickly learn new subject matters.
- Strong communication skills.
- Very good written and spoken German skills.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
