About the Role

We are seeking two Project Officers for the ANZELA-QI team to coordinate and deliver the registry, working closely with hospitals, clinicians, research offices, and other stakeholders. One role focuses on Ethics and Governance, managing submissions, compliance, and documentation. The other role focuses on Site Engagement and the implementation of Patient-Reported Outcome and Experience Measures (PROMs/PREMs), coordinating onboarding, training, and monitoring participation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate ethics, governance, and compliance activities across participating hospitals.
  • Manage submissions, amendments, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support hospitals in meeting governance obligations.
  • Contribute to project coordination, stakeholder communication, and quality improvement.
  • Help hospitals join and remain engaged with the ANZELA-QI program.
  • Lead the implementation of PROMs and PREMs across participating sites.
  • Coordinate onboarding, communications, training, and implementation activities.
  • Monitor progress and identify opportunities to improve participation and processes.
  • Contribute to project delivery, data quality, and reporting.
  • Manage competing priorities and keep projects on track.
  • Prepare reports and resources.
  • Work with a wide range of people across hospitals and RACS.

Experience Level

  • Experience coordinating projects, activities or competing priorities, ideally in a healthcare, research, quality improvement, registry or audit environment.
  • Experience with ethics, governance or compliance processes within healthcare or research settings.
  • Experience with PROMs/PREMs, quality improvement, stakeholder engagement, training, databases or REDCap would be well regarded.

Education Level

  • Tertiary qualification in health sciences, public health, healthcare management, project management, nursing, allied health or a related discipline.
