About the Role
The Future Talent Program offers internships up to 12 weeks, including projects. These opportunities within the Global Support Division provide development and a chance to assess long-term career fit.
Responsibilities
- Provide environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance and technical support to local site business partners.
- Support compliance programs including General Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Biosafety, and Air/Water/Waste Environmental programs.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors/master’s degree in safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology or another technical program.
- Completed at least 2 years of college coursework.
- Able to work full-time for a period of 10-12 weeks.
- Possess critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Ability to receive and implement verbal or written direction.
- Ability to think critically about process inefficiencies and propose solutions.
Skills
- Prior internship or work experience in the Environmental, Health, and Safety field or in chemical manufacturing.
- Ability to convey ideas and explain decisions clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work in a small team.
