About the Role

The Future Talent Program offers internships lasting up to 12 weeks, featuring projects within the Research and Development Division. These roles provide significant development opportunities and a chance to assess long-term career alignment with the company. Interns will gain exposure to the drug development process and potentially contribute to scientific publications.

Responsibilities

Support drug discovery with structural information using methods such as preparative protein purification, characterization, biochemical and biophysical pre-crystallization assays, crystallization screening and optimization, crystal harvesting, grid preparation for Cryo-EM, and data collection, processing, and structure determination.
Accurately record data in electronic notebooks.
Adhere to safe laboratory practices.
Present data and interpretations to a team of scientists.
Attend departmental and team meetings to understand the pharmaceutical drug development process.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a BS/BA or Master’s/Ph.D. degree in a related field with demonstrated interest/experience in research areas relevant to drug discovery.
Must possess basic laboratory skills and research experience in areas such as structural biology, protein biochemistry, biophysics, BioNMR, mass spectrometry, molecular biology, protein expression and purification, protein characterization using biochemical and biophysical techniques, and safe lab practices.
Must have completed at least two years of studies toward a BS/BA degree or at least 1 year towards a Master’s/PhD at the time of the internship.
Must be currently enrolled in an academic program at the time of application and continue education for at least 1 semester after the internship.
Must be available for full-time employment for 10-12 weeks during June - August 2027.
Must submit letters of recommendation, a brief research statement, and a copy of transcript if selected for an interview.
