About the Role

Responsibilities
- Directly supervise Nurse Managers, Nursing Coordinators, Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and other clinicians.
- Ensure comprehensive nursing assessments and care aligned with individual acuity and needs.
- Oversee medication administration and inventory, collaborating with pharmacies and medical professionals.
- Develop, review, and maintain nursing policies and procedures in compliance with IAHD and OPWDD regulations.
- Implement evidence-based quality initiatives and monitor trends to improve care outcomes.
- Provide and ensure staff training on medication administration, certifications, and other nursing-related topics (AMAP).
- Monitor nursing-related information in the electronic health record (EHR) system and generate reports.
- Coordinate the nursing on-call system and ensure off-hours availability for emergency support.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and leadership regarding complex cases, end-of-life documentation, and critical care needs.
- Maintain compliance with OPWDD regulations and internal standards through audits and reporting.
- Identify, minimize, and manage risk by developing preventative care plans.
Requirements
- Must be licensed in New York State as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Requires reliable transportation (valid NYS driver’s license).
- Must be fully vaccinated (COVID-19).

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Proficiency in tools such as eVero
- Experience with Healthix is a plus
- Experience with StationMD is a plus
- Experience with Long-Term Care is a plus
- Experience with OPWDD regulations is a plus
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
