About the Role

We are seeking an energetic and experienced part-time teacher with a focus on ESL to join our team. As a Tutor, you will assist students individually and in small groups, helping them understand educational concepts, complete assignments, and prepare for tests. Your goal is to help students reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is reliable, understanding, and has a passion for education. We have many students with intellectual and learning disabilities who need a teacher that can help them learn at their own pace and reach their grade level and beyond.

Responsibilities

Help students understand new concepts
Assist students in preparing for tests and completing assignments
Teach problem-solving skills

Requirements

Previous experience as a Tutor is preferred
4 year bachelor's degree is MANDATORY, NO EXCEPTIONS!
Patient, understanding, and reliable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to pass a background check
Availability MUST be flexible
