About the Role

Join the Team at West Hotel and contribute to Hilton's mission of filling the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality. This role directly impacts the guest experience by delivering exceptional Food and Beverage service in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Creating exceptional guest experiences in all interactions.
  • Ensuring all guests receive a friendly, warm welcome, prompt attention, and quick, efficient service.
  • Setting up and maintaining all service areas and stations with sufficient mise en place for the length of service.
  • Promptly collecting orders from the kitchen and delivering them to guests.
  • Undertaking general waiting duties, including cleaning tables.
  • Taking reservations, greeting, and seating guests.
  • Demonstrating exemplary menu and product knowledge.
  • Demonstrating responsible service of alcohol at all times.
  • Exhibiting exemplary personal behavior, appearance, and attitude.
  • Ensuring tables and chairs are correctly positioned and that all areas are spotlessly clean before and during service.

Requirements

  • Must possess a current and valid NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card.
  • Previous work experience in Hospitality or Customer Service is desirable.
  • Previous food hygiene experience is desirable.
  • Completed tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management are desirable.
  • Electronic Ordering Systems experience is desirable.
  • Cash handling experience is desirable.
  • A high level of interpersonal skills in both oral and written communication.
  • Time management and ability to follow directions.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Excellent grooming standards.
  • Able to work on a rotating roster, including day and night shifts, late starts, and early finishes.
  • Must have valid Australian working rights (minimum 6 months).
