About the Role
This is a general application for Service Technician openings across Swickard's San Francisco Bay Area dealerships. Qualified candidates will be contacted as opportunities arise.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles across a range of systems using OEM diagnostic platforms and manufacturer procedures.
- Perform multi-point inspections and develop accurate repair plans, communicating findings to service advisors.
- Execute repairs to factory specifications with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Complete repair orders accurately, documenting all work performed and parts used.
- Stay current on technical service bulletins, software updates, and manufacturer repair procedures.
Requirements
- 2+ years of flat-rate technician experience in a franchised dealership.
- Any brand background considered (luxury, import, and domestic experience valued).
- Strong diagnostic ability and a low comeback rate.
- ASE certifications a strong plus; OEM factory certifications highly valued.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
