About the Role
As a Safety Consultant – Risk, you will play a key role in strengthening the Sydney Opera House's safety culture by supporting the development and implementation of risk management systems, processes, and procedures. You will provide expert advice on WHS legislation, facilitate risk assessments, maintain risk registers, and contribute to initiatives that reduce risk and drive continuous improvement.

- Design and deliver safety training.
- Support complex investigations.
- Involve in significant organisational projects.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS and significant experience in a Safety Advisor or Safety Consultant role within complex, high-risk environments.
- Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and reviewing safety risk management systems, procedures, and controls.
- Strong technical knowledge of WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards, incident investigations, and risk management.
- Proven ability to lead WHS projects, investigations, and change initiatives, delivering practical outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, build effective relationships, deliver training, and foster a positive safety culture across diverse teams.
- Existing Australian work rights.
- Satisfactory National Police Check.
- Satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment.
