About the Role

The FOH Team Lead assists with overall front-of-house operations to ensure guest satisfaction through excellent customer service. This role is vital in establishing efficient processes and procedures, maintaining high team morale, and supporting staff development. The FOH Team Lead acts as a role model, capable of hands-on tasks to ensure smooth service and resolve guest escalations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures all dishes served meet specifications and are packaged according to guidelines.
  • Communicates stock levels, workflow, equipment, and employee concerns to the GM and AGM.
  • Assists the AGM with bar and FOH inventory, including stock counting, waste recording, data entry, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Adheres to company standards for portion sizes, packaging, quality, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Promotes product knowledge to make recommendations and educate guests on the menu, retail usage, and the Fresh mobile app.
  • Maintains an inspection-ready restaurant environment across all areas (retail, eat-in, storage).
  • Acts as a role model by upholding all standards, policies, and operating systems.
  • Holds FOH staff accountable to all procedures and standards.
  • Completes tasks assigned by the GM and AGM and remains accountable for the overall shift.
  • Attends manager meetings, actively participates, and encourages the inclusion of others' opinions.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen or restaurant.
  • 1+ years of experience with employee management.
  • Open and flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Able to complete physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting 50 lbs, bending, and reaching.
  • Quick learner with technology, software, and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
