About the Role
This position is part of the Global Financial Accounting and Reporting team, offering exposure to business stakeholders and responsibility for assisting with the accounting and reporting of corporate entities.
Responsibilities
- Report all elements of the treasury cycle, including affiliate loan agreements, cash balances, dividend income, debt arrangements, and foreign exchange.
- Prepare monthly account analysis and bank reconciliations for multiple cash accounts.
- Prepare quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Account for the ongoing global cash pooling project, serving as the main point of contact for related accounting queries.
- Fulfill group reporting requirements, including quarterly intercompany reconciliations in ARCs.
- Complete actuals and forecast cashflow reporting.
- Assist with accounting for derivatives and apply hedge accounting.
- Assist with the year-end audit process with external auditors.
- Maintain the general ledger in D365 for Chanel Ceres PLC.
- Account for third-party debt and intercompany loans for Chanel Ceres PLC.
- Assist with quarterly and year-end accounting for other corporate entities.
- Undertake other ad hoc projects.
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/CA) with two years post qualification experience.
- Excellent reconciliation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and in a hands-on environment.
