About the Role
As a key member of our growing legal team, you will be at the center of our US expansion. You’ll partner directly with our GC, CEO, and CTO to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and accelerate our commercial engine.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate high-stakes B2B SaaS contracts.
- Provide business-oriented legal guidance to AI researchers and engineers.
- Navigate privacy (GDPR/CCPA), security reviews, and regulatory landscapes.
- Build policies and processes for a high-growth startup.
- Develop creative solutions for novel legal issues arising from generative AI.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited school and qualified to practice in New York.
- 5+ years at a top-tier law firm and/or high-growth in-house environment.
- Proven track record negotiating complex B2B SaaS agreements.
- Exceptional writing skills and the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for non-lawyers.
- Experience with AI regulation and product counseling.
- Background in IT security, data privacy, or corporate law.
- Admitted to practice before the USPTO.
