About the Role
Galderma is a leading dermatology company dedicated to advancing dermatology for every skin story. We are seeking a GAIN Clinical Specialist (Medical Educator) to provide hands-on support to Medical Aesthetic customers across the UK, ensuring they are trained appropriately on Galderma’s non-surgical products for safe and effective use. This promotional role supports Account Managers in designated regions and drives portfolio adoption.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customers needing technical/clinical product support and work in-clinic to build confidence in using Galderma’s non-surgical range.
- Provide tailored support including product selection for treatments, filler techniques (needle and cannula), reconstitution, and hands-on injection techniques.
- Support customers with technical training for new product launches, including reconstitution, marking up, injection techniques, follow-up, AART, and HITs adoption.
- Explain the science and clinical relevance behind Galderma’s products and articulate their benefits to customers.
- Evaluate customer readiness for the next stage of Galderma’s educational journey to ensure appropriate learning pace.
- Attend relevant training to maintain high product and clinical knowledge standards.
- Support the Regional Business Managers team with product and clinical training.
- Collaborate with the Galderma education team to deliver the UK & Ireland educational strategy.
- Engage only in on-label discussions and possess necessary qualifications for cosmetic insurance policy coverage.
Requirements
- Medical expertise in aesthetic medicine.
- Experience in the commercial healthcare sector delivering clinical support to healthcare practitioners.
- Excellent knowledge of the aesthetics medical community.
- Knowledge of and experience with the Galderma portfolio.
- Teaching ability and communication skills.
- Competency in performing treatments/procedures with Galderma products.
- Valid registration with a professional body governing healthcare practitioners (GMC/NMC/GDC).
- ABPI qualification preferred.
