About the Role
Shine is building its first company-wide performance system, a critical function reporting directly to the CEO's office. This role involves designing, implementing, and scaling a KPI framework and the associated processes to drive business performance and decision-making. You will build and lead a team, initially composed of AI engineers, to automate and enhance the system.
Responsibilities
- Design and build Shine's first company-wide performance system, including a KPI framework and leadership playbook.
- Build and evolve the team over time as the function grows.
- Implement the performance system, including selecting and rolling out tooling, securing leadership buy-in, and embedding it into company operations.
- Establish and run recurring business performance review cadences with senior leadership.
- Own KPI governance across the business, defining and maintaining metric quality and consistency.
- Build and lead a small team, starting with AI engineers, to automate and scale the performance system.
- Act as a change agent, coaching senior leaders on data-driven decision-making and influencing performance culture.
- Report directly to the CEO's office and collaborate with Finance, Data, and business unit leaders.
Requirements
- Experience in a top-tier tech, strategy consulting, or investment banking environment.
- Proven experience implementing a performance system within a company, driving adoption and ongoing operation.
- Comfort with performance and reporting tools (e.g., BI/dashboarding platforms like Power BI or Tableau, OKR/KPI platforms like Quantive or Workboard).
- Demonstrated zero-to-one experience, with a focus on building new initiatives.
- Strong entrepreneurial instincts, comfort with ambiguity, bias to action, and ability to build structure.
- Gravitas and communication skills to influence senior leaders and hold them accountable.
- Experience building or leading a small team.
- Fluent in English; another European language is a plus.
