About the Role

Ensure that Reactive Maintenance and Remedial Works are planned and executed in accordance with contract requirements across Mechanical Services, HVAC Services and associated systems at the prestigious Wembley Stadium.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level communication, reporting to line management and client contacts, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Manage 3 direct reports, including all HR and Operational activities to ensure a safe, healthy and proactive culture.
  • Adhere to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements and ensure team compliance.
  • Ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to and maintain accurate records/documentation associated with mechanical/HVAC aspects.
  • Assist fault diagnosis and correct setup with a good understanding of BMS and Control Systems.
  • Supervise the team in all aspects of work, undertaking people management activities such as Safety Briefings, absence reporting, performance reviews, annual leave and timesheet approvals.
  • Plan and arrange staff training to support their development.
  • Ensure the team undertakes repairs to HVAC Plant and Associated Systems to a high standard.
  • Ensure the team undertakes installation, alteration and repairs to pipework systems to a high standard and in good time.
  • Undertake repairs to pumps within the workshop, including replacement of Mechanical Seals and other common causes of pump failure.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to Helpdesk related reactive maintenance issues associated with heating and ventilation systems, pumps, water tanks, valves, pipework and associated mechanical systems.

Requirements

  • Experienced Contracts Supervisor (Mechanical) with a pro-active fault-finding approach.
  • Personable engineer who can articulate necessary steps and actions to clients.
  • Experienced in the electrical and mechanical aspects of general building service, repair and installation.
  • Exceptional knowledge and experience working with and repairing Mechanical Systems and Heating and Ventilation Systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical principles including safe isolation, controls and basic fault finding.
  • Use of Trend BMS.
  • Ability to undertake repairs to pumps within the workshop.

  • City & Guilds 2079 F Gas Regulations (Desirable)
