About the Role
Work in the Everyday Banking domain, within the Payments Team, managing and processing payment and card transactions with modern, high-volume systems to ensure the best customer experience. This role offers a platform to work on complex problems with a high degree of autonomy and encourages embracing the latest technological updates.
Responsibilities
- Work in cross-functional teams, understanding the entire system's functionality.
- Take ownership and impact the product.
- Ask critical questions and contribute to discussions.
- Engage in knowledge-sharing within and beyond the team.
- Understand and work with Agile development methodologies.
Requirements
- Thorough experience with the Android Platform and Material Design principles.
- Experience with Kotlin.
- Experience with Reactive programming - Kotlin Flows and Coroutines.
- Ability to build software with a focus on testability - Test/Behaviour Driven Development, Dependency Injection.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose (nice to have).
Skills
- Highly motivated and a fast learner.
- Strong bias for action and getting things done.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Strong call to action and for getting things done.
- Motivation to write code which is well-tested and well-documented.
- Ability to give and receive open, direct and timely feedback.
