About the Role
Chain IQ is seeking a Professional Services Subject Matter Expert to lead and architect sourcing initiatives for Consultancy, Advisory, Tax, Audit, Resourcing, and Legal services. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders and clients to develop sourcing strategies that unlock value and improve operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Lead sourcing initiatives, from routine renewals to strategic purchases, with minimal oversight.
- Conduct market tenders and manage cross-functional team evaluations for supplier selection.
- Understand business requirements and structure deals accordingly.
- Negotiate deals to achieve optimal commercial terms.
- Draft contracts based on standard terms and conditions.
- Maintain market awareness for assigned categories and contribute to sourcing plans.
- Adhere to corporate standards, including using defined sourcing tools and processes.
- Identify and implement opportunities for savings and benefits through efficient sourcing.
- Mentor and coach less experienced team members.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent education.
- Minimum 5-10 years of sourcing experience across specific categories.
- Proven market knowledge of Professional Services and ability to apply it for client value.
- Demonstrated capability in managing large, complex global deals and tender processes.
- Hands-on deal execution experience, managing deals end-to-end with minimal oversight.
- Highly organized and results-driven, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Client/stakeholder focus within a corporate environment, with gravitas to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experienced negotiator with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to structure complex deals and develop sourcing strategies.
- Experience in understanding contracts and contract drafting, requiring limited legal support.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
