About the Role

As the site-based leader at Pecan Springs Elementary School, the Program Manager will integrate CIS programming with school-wide activities to empower students, provide parent engagement, and support student success. This role involves managing CIS services, interfacing with school administrators, and providing clinical services.

Responsibilities

Conduct needs assessments to inform program design and resource identification.
Maintain positive relationships with campus personnel and establish student referral processes.
Implement data management systems for program evaluation and administrative efficiency.
Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and training for team members.
Develop professional development plans for team members.
Provide ongoing supervision and conduct evaluations for team members.
Communicate agency and school policies to the team and promote agency culture.
Provide individual counseling, facilitate groups, and manage crises for students.
Conduct outreach to parents and develop parental involvement.
Perform case management and participate in the CIS team approach.
Represent CIS at school and community meetings and events.
Organize and coordinate school and community events.
Host events for school personnel, teachers, and parents.
Communicate information and activities through appropriate channels.
Perform other activities and duties as directed by leadership.

Requirements

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human services, or related field.
Demonstrated English/Spanish speaking skills.
Experience with crisis intervention, assessments, and referrals.
Experience with group counseling and supportive guidance.
Case management experience.
Experience working with appropriate school-age youth and vulnerable populations.
Experience working with parents/guardians and families.
Experience providing individual supportive guidance and case management services.
Ability to build and maintain positive and productive relationships with staff, school personnel, community partners, students, families, team members, and volunteers.
Highly self-motivated and able to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on strength-based leadership.
Current CPR Certification.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Access to reliable transportation.
