About the Role

As an Analyst on the Tenzing Programme, you will engage with and gain insight across all aspects of the private equity investment process, including sourcing and evaluating potential investments, presenting opportunities to the broader team, and performing due diligence. You will play a key role and gain significant responsibility from day one. The Programme is the ideal environment for developing a well-rounded investment skill set, supported by dedicated training and mentorship. The Analyst position will also provide a great opportunity to understand how a super-ambitious and high-performance team operates within a high-growth private equity house.

Responsibilities

  • Drive thematic and industry research across software and tech services.
  • Participate in due diligence processes, including financial modelling, market research, and company analysis.
  • Support deal execution activities, including preparing presentations and drafting documents.
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorms, contributing your ideas and perspectives.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities, including participating in the Altitude Academy©, Tenzing's tailored training, and mentorship sessions.
  • Conduct commercial, operational, and other analyses to assist in making investment decisions.
  • Perform financial analysis and modelling to assess the valuation of companies.

Requirements

  • Natural curiosity and a passion for learning.
  • Commitment to being a team player.
  • Prior relevant experience, such as internships, is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated interest in business and finance through activities or coursework.

Skills

  • Collaborative, supportive, and comfortable working in small, high-performance teams.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Prior exposure to financial modelling and analysis is a plus.
  • Enjoy presenting and working on interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to clearly share ideas and collaborate with team members.
  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and maintain a strong work ethic.
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and tackle tasks directly with a practical mindset.
  • Self-starter attitude, willing to take risks, and show initiative.
  • Bright and adaptable, able to respond quickly and effectively to changing circumstances.
  • Strong time management and organisation skills.
  • Proficiency in German, Scandinavian languages, and French is actively sought.
  • Knowledge of any European languages is considered beneficial.
