About the Role
We are seeking dedicated (Senior) Project Managers in Contract Management for our Places business line within the Project Management team. Our goal is to create, foster, and optimize intelligent, safe, and sustainable places where people live, work, learn, and thrive, ultimately improving quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Prepare service descriptions for planning and consulting services according to HOAI, AHO, and for specialist planners, appraisers, and testing experts.
- Coordinate service descriptions with the client.
- Lead contract discussions with the client and conduct contract negotiations with planners/architects.
- Lead all contract-relevant processes.
- Coordinate contract-relevant correspondence.
- Review and evaluate additional cost notifications, fee claims, and supplements regarding the basis of the claim, plausibility, and economic impact.
- Provide technical leadership and development for the Contract Management department and coordinate a growing team.
Requirements
- Share our passion for improving quality of life and customer satisfaction.
- Be technically proficient with strong experience in project management of building and civil engineering projects.
- Completed degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in planning, project management, construction management, construction supervision, or contract management of complex building or infrastructure projects.
- In-depth knowledge of contract management and experience in supporting and negotiating planner and consultant contracts.
- Excellent knowledge of HOAI, AHO, and relevant service descriptions of specialist planners, appraisers, and testing experts.
- Experience working with public clients is an advantage.
- Proficient use of common MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical skills and confident demeanor in negotiations and discussions with various stakeholders.
- Fluent German (C1 level minimum) and good written and spoken English skills.
