About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Project Managers (f/m/d) with a focus on schedule and cost management to support public and private construction projects within our Places business line. This role is crucial for creating, fostering, and optimizing intelligent, safe, and sustainable places where people live, work, learn, and thrive.
Responsibilities
- Structured, experienced, and independent management of complex building and transportation projects with a focus on schedule and cost management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and the interface for all construction stakeholders.
- Solution-oriented collaboration with users, planners, and executing companies.
- Ensure adherence to costs, schedules, and quality standards.
- Manage costs and schedules, utilizing necessary soft skills in client relations and hard skills in operating relevant software.
- Provide professional and meaningful assessments of quality, timelines, and costs within projects, preparing them for client presentation.
- Maintain and control internal and external project costs.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a comparable qualification.
- Ideally 3-5 years of professional experience in project management and significant experience as a leading (Senior) Architect or Civil Engineer.
- In-depth experience with complex national and international construction projects, preferably in building construction and transportation infrastructure.
- Proficient in AHO, HOAI, and VOB.
- Good knowledge of MS Project and other Office applications.
- Diplomatic skills and professional demeanor.
- Goal-oriented work style, independence, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to meaningfully assess and structure qualities, project timelines, and costs in relation to structured functions and project requirements.
- Fluent German (min. C1) and very good English language skills.
