About the Role
For our Berlin project management team, we are looking for a structured and organizationally strong individual to manage documents and information within complex infrastructure and civil engineering projects. This role is part of our global Places business line, focused on creating, promoting, and optimizing intelligent, safe, and sustainable places for people to live, work, learn, and thrive.
Responsibilities
- Steering and coordination of document and information management within complex public sector infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
- Operational support and conceptual further development of project-related information and documentation processes in Thinkproject and future PKMS and CDE solutions.
- Ensuring traceable, structured, and quality-assured document control throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Setting up and coordinating the plan approval process, as well as developing and defining processes for a solution-oriented and efficient workflow.
- Registration, classification, and filing of documents, plan revisions, opinions, and project-related correspondence.
- Organization and coordination of document and data transfers between clients, users, planners, experts, authorities, and other project stakeholders.
- Performing formal quality checks of incoming and outgoing documentation and ensuring compliance with project-specific requirements.
- Building, maintaining, and further developing document structures, metadata concepts, filing logics, and documentation standards.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of PKMS and CDE processes, including governance, release, and authorization concepts.
- Creating evaluations, key figures, status reports, and management overviews on document and information management.
- Ensuring audit-proof, transparent, and traceable project documentation.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in a technical, business, or information-related field, or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience in document management, information management, or project management of construction, infrastructure, or large-scale projects.
- Experience with document management, information management, or CDE systems, ideally Thinkproject, tpCDE, or comparable solutions is desirable.
- Understanding of project organizations, governance structures, and reporting in complex projects.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong process, structure, and quality orientation.
- High organizational skills and an independent, solution-oriented way of working.
- Strong communication skills and confident demeanor towards internal and external project stakeholders.
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken (minimum C1).
