About the Role
Spire St Anthony's Hospital is seeking a Bank Chef to join their Catering team on a flexible basis. This role will cover periods of annual leave, sickness, and busy times, with shifts available between 7 am and 6 pm, including weekends. It's an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chef to deliver high-quality food and service in a professional setting.
Responsibilities
- Support with the preparation and cooking of meals
- Deliver food service to patients, staff and visitors
- Assist with food orders and dietary requirements
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Support with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
- Follow food safety and health & safety procedures
- Assist with cleaning and general kitchen duties
Requirements
- Previous experience working within a kitchen environment
- Experience preparing meals for large numbers
- Good communication skills and a professional approach
- Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards
